Valentine's Day At Big Mamma

I created vibrant, cinematic, attention-grabbing imagery for a Valentine’s themed partnership with Big Mamma Group restaurants.

Our client was Big Mamma Group, a global restaurant chain specialising in Italian food and opulent interiors. The brief was to create a collection of images to promote a Valentine’s partnership that brought to life the spirit of Big Mamma’s newest London location, Carlotta.

My approach was to focus on non romantic love of ourselves, love of food, love of ritual and celebrating. I pictured a woman dining alone - ordering everything she wanted, with her dog as her dinner date (the Big Mamma Restaurants are dog-friendly!). I set the table with an edit of Glassette dinnerware that reflected the maximalist, Italian-American, vegas-style interiors of Carlotta and layered in their most popular dishes, desserts and cocktails, to create the perfect dining for one scene. Stephanie Sian Smith was the perfect partner to work on this project, with her dreamy and ultra modern approach to photography.
